Jay has taught locally and nationally at continuing education courses and professional conferences on topics including manual therapy, shoulder, orthopedic examination and treatment, and persistent pain. He has authored or co-authored over 20 articles and 2 book chapters. Jay is an Associate Professor in the Physical Therapy Program at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT, where his teaching responsibilities are focused in the area of introductory and advanced musculoskeletal examination. He serves as Program Director, mentor, and faculty in the Orthopaedic Physical Therapy Residency Program at Sacred Heart. He is also an adjunct faculty member in the TDPT program at Shenandoah University. He works as a per diem clinician in southern CT and is an active member of the APTA.
